Mrs Wilde has directed or managed major projects in more than 60 countries in Central & Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia, South America and the Middle East for the donor institutions, commercial banks and private clients. She previously worked at the scientific research HQ of the UK coal mining sector but has spent the last 25 years providing environmental consulting services to the mining, mineral processing and thermal power generation sectors across the world. These projects include EIA, environmental and social due diligence audits, reform of mining law, site contamination and remediation and assessment of liabilities and closure costs. She has experience of a range of minerals including lead, zinc, copper, gold, iron, nickel, bauxite/alumina, coal, lignite and oil shale.
Larraine was formerly Chair of the BSI Technical Committee for Environmental Auditing and Principal UK Expert to the ISO Technical Committee producing the environmental audit standards in the ISO14000 range of standards.
Larraine Was the Project Manager for the technical team working with Lalive on the Iraq claims and appeared at the UN Oral Proceedings.
